The Ferryhill Community Council has ceased to exist.

There were insufficient applicants to join the Ferryhill & Ruthrieston

Community Council in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK in the October 2009 nomination period. The Community Council can be reinstated if sufficient numbers of residents apply to the Aberdeen City Council in writing. Details will be somewhere on the City Council website. 

As a member of the former Community Council, I did not see merit in applying to rejoin since there is very little consultation from the city council and next to zero attention paid to Community Council concerns.

I now understand that individuals and focus groups can have their cases listened.
